The Squirrel!
Iron Lakes Country Club was the venue, the bridal couple was Donna Lichman and Dion Isapa. Right before the pronouncement of their marriage, a baby squirrel joined us up front. The incredible photographers of Essence photography captured the moment! We were shocked, but kept our cool. The squirrel stayed with us till the end of the ceremony. I think it was good luck!

The Class Reunion
Kelly Scott and Richard Russo knew each other since high school, but had been out of touch for years. They both attended their class reunion, (even though Kelly didn't really want to go) and re-met there. It was instant chemistry, and I pronounced them man and wife at The Best Western Hotel on Nov. 28, 2009. (I just love happy endings!)

Something in the Way She Moves!
It was the wedding of Cynthia Lee and John Daneker, at Woodstone Country Club.
Cynthia was incredibly beautiful as she seemed to float down the path to the strains of "Something" by the Beatles. It was so beautiful it gave me the chills, and almost made me cry, (but I didn't, I'm not allowed to, being the officiant). Their ceremony was beautiful and unique. I am so happy for them, they are a great couple!

The Black Wedding Ring
I will not name the couple, not really sure how thrilled the bride was about this, (really, she was okay, and had a great sense of humor) The groom said if the bride made him wear a wedding band, he would have it painted black...and he did! You must admit, his wedding band is unique!)

Tatoo You...Say I Do!
Another unusual wedding band. I defy this groom to take off his wedding band. The tatoo was done before the ceremony, we used his Father-in-laws ring for the actual ring exchange during the ceremony.

My Parents, Married 63 Years!
These are my beloved parents, Joyce and Edward Hawk. I renewed their vows on their 60th anniversary. We did this on a day cruise on the Spirit Of Philadelphia. My parents, who are 83 and 84 respectively just celebrated their 63rd anniversary! This was probably the hardest ceremony I ever did, just to keep from being too emotional. Can you top their record? I hope your marriage will last as long as theirs has!

A Renaissance Wedding
This Renaissance Wedding took place at The Barrister's Club in Allentown. This ceremony was written by the bride and groom, Michelle Cook, and Robert Nicholas Jr. I had a dress made just for the occasion, and wore a wreath of flowers in my hair. Everything was unique. There was even an authentic looking professional town crier to announce the wedding procession. The groomsmen carred medieval flags as they walked in. The wedding cake was a castle. Even the musicians and the guests were dressed in Renaissance costumes! The children were faries with wings! I loved it!

Married on the First Day of Spring!
Charlene Sexton and Kirk Williams sure knew what they were doing when they picked their wedding date! March 20th, the first day of spring! The day was as bright and beautiful as the bridal couple! I pronounced them Husband and wife at Bear Creek Ski Lodge.

A Touch of "Red Carpet"

The Sand Ceremony
The sand ceremony is a beautiful segment which can be added for a bridal couple or to unite a new family. People have found really beautiful glass containers, some vintage, some new, they were all beautiful and gave them a unique keepsake from their wedding to treasure forever.

They Met At A Wedding!
Vicki Miller and Jacob Pitman met at a wedding. Their friend, Alexis Scholes who was the bride at that wedding ended up being the soloist at Vicki and Jacob's wedding at Berkleigh Country Club. How cool is that?
